Linux FoundationAccording to the annual report, Linux Foundation corporate use of Linux is growing steadily for the third consecutive year, the company constantly increase investment in open OS ecosystem.

The report, prepared jointly with Yeomans Technology Group, said that the investment in Linux grew throughout 2012, but in the fourth quarter of 2012, they were significantly reduced rates and increased from the comparable figures in 2011 by only 3.1%.

Total up the business in 2012 increased their investments in Linux by 12.7% from the level in 2011, while investment in Windows increased by 3.2%, while in Unix – decreased by 24.1%. “We see a steady increase in the number of Linux deployments in the business sector, especially in the most important branches of the business,” – said Amanda McPherson, vice president of marketing for Linux Foundation.
