With the Windows 10 release date growing closer, the company has released a long list of the different editions to their latest development. Globally launched in 190 countries on July 29th 2015, the main two editions are Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.

Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 consumer edition users; it can be reserved online now at no extra cost and will continue to be a free upgrade during the first year of launch. Three new Lumia smartphonesMicrosoft has announced three new Nokia Lumia smartphones – 830, 735 and 730, including a model with a low price tag, as well as two models which are suitable for Skype video calling due to the presence of the front cameras with high resolution.

All three new products were announced at the IFA 2014 in Berlin, the beginning of their sales is expected later this month.

According to the report the corporation, all three smartphones run on the basis of Windows Phone 8.1 and supplemented by proprietary Service Pack Lumia Denim EXCLUSIVE extensions for Lumia. Continue reading

Office Mobile for AndroidMicrosoft has introduced a version of its Office suite for the platform Android, which is already available for installation through the Google Play catalog store.

The program is free for subscribers to the service Microsoft Office 365. To be able to work in the Android-version of Microsoft Office to Office 365 subscription is required (you can use a trial 30-day registration). The only supported devices on the Android platform 4.

The program allows for a full-fledged view and edit documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Windows 8.1 preview soonMicrosoft Corp. today opened its corporate conference Build, which among others, announced presented the operating system Windows 8.1.

Strictly speaking, Windows 8.1 is a free upgrade for users of Windows 8, which will be released this fall. In the meantime, Microsoft has announced a preview version of Windows 8.1. A little later, the distribution should appear in the Windows Store, but for now only available 2GB ISO-files.

As said at Microsoft, preview version will be released in Arabic, English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish. Corporation also warns that the preview version – it’s an incomplete version and installing it is recommended only for informational purposes. Continue reading
