Invincea Secure CommandInformation security specialists warn about the discovery in the network exploit aimed at a previously unknown vulnerability in the browser Microsoft Internet Explorer.

By means of vulnerability potential malefactors can establish malicious software on the victim computer. In the IT company Invincea say that the first cases of the specified exploit were found in the network of a U.S. federal agency in charge of nuclear research.

According to experts, the exploit uses a zero-day vulnerability, found by the creators of the exploit in Internet Explorer 8. Earlier versions of the browser are not affected, that IE8 works with an exploit in the operating systems Windows XP-7. Continue reading
