Linux Mint 15Available version of Linux Mint 15 distribution with the Xfce desktop-environment

Available Xfce-edition of Linux Mint 15 distro. The distribution is based on the packet-base Xubuntu 13.04 and comes with a desktop environment Xfce 4.10, supplemented by a series of original applications, simplifying setup and operation of the system.

SUSE Linux Enterprise 11After a year and a half since the last update submitted to the release SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP 3 (Service Pack 3).

Knoppix 7.2Klaus Knopper has presented a new version of KNOPPIX 7.2, one of the first distributions supporting work in the Live-mode.

The distribution is based on the original set of boot scripts and includes packages that are imported from Debian Wheezy, with inserts of the branches of Debian “testing” and “unstable”. Is available for download assembly LiveDVD, the size of 3.8 GB.

User shell distribution is based on light-weight desktop environment LXDE, built based on the GTK + library and the ability to run on low-power systems. Linux FreedomA series of patches for the power management of Radeon graphics cards for the Linux 3.11 kernel has been presented.

Alex Deucher, a developer of of AMD, presented in a mailing list dri-devel very large series of patches (165 patches!), Which presumably will be included in the version of the Linux 3.11 kernel (radeon drm-next to the developers terminology).

These patches provide a lot of improvements for working with the family of Radeon GPU in the Linux kernel.
